Our Mission
Medical imaging plays a central role in modern medicine, yet many students receive limited exposure to the field of radiology early in their education. ExploreRadiology was created to help bridge that gap by providing free and accessible educational resources that introduce learners to the science, technology, and people behind diagnostic imaging.
Our goal is not simply to teach learners what an imaging finding looks like, but to help them understand why it looks that way. By connecting imaging physics with anatomy, pathology, and pathophysiology, we hope to make radiology more intuitive and engaging and give students the opportunity to explore the field beyond the traditional medical school curriculum. It is also our goal to provide students with a better understanding of what the field of radiology actually entails, from the day-to-day work of radiologists to the breadth of career paths and opportunities within the specialty.

Growing up with radiologists in my family gave me an early window into the world of radiology and sparked a curiosity about the field from a young age. I created ExploreRadiology to help give other students the opportunity to discover radiology early in their own journeys.
My vision for ExploreRadiology is for it to be an ever-evolving resource. As I continue through my training in radiology, I hope to expand the platform with new imaging findings, deeper connections to pathophysiology and imaging physics, emerging innovations, and lessons learned along my own radiology journey!
